Sister Moon

Sister moon, Oh, How she smiles so gracefully
Shining sweet cooling radiance
Full of white mass royalty
Graced lit skies upon gifting eyes

Sister moon, I admire your presence
Your lunar tranquility embellishes this skin
Relaxing the source of this inner peace within
Hovering over the rapture of internal gleaming

Oh, A full presence tonight
Ivory artistry in profound abundance
Lifting this heart in it’s gravitational grasp
Guiding it to your majestic epitome
In the salvation of alluring beauty
That calms this restless body to serenity

Oh, After you have taught me to live again
Turn me into a shooting star
Paint these ambitions onto uncharted dreams
Paradise of sublime lit lore
Into the heart I have hopelessly fallen for
Embracing the arms of acceptance
Upon what these humble hopes may come
Softly, securely onto the night

Sister moon, I shall always look up to you for guidance
Lessons you shall feed these thoughts pondering
In the future where I shall make an impact
To a future where I shall reside at last

Sister moon, Guide me, Guide me oh bright one
And I will always share your legacy
To hearts whom have yet to be touched
