From a distance I see you
Holding up your heart sign
Feeling alone, crying inside
Frustrated from love’s wicked ways
As I come closer
I peer into those epic eyes
Lending you my heart
So our souls can feel solidified
But low and behold
You see past me
Looking at society’s demise
Blushing, laughing with joy
Ah, look it’s the “perfect” guy
He is everything you have ever wanted in appearance
He is your love facsimile to the rotting core
But you still ride on top of his blackened heart
Because it feels so comfortable
Ah, for the seconds he respects your existence
Minutes, Hours and days pass by
As he stabs your heart into oblivion
He leaves you restless in kaleidoscopic emotions
In a daze directed by the deceit of his self-absorbing lies
He takes your resources
Leaving you in a fixated icy haze
Oh, how you always thought depression was pathetic
Now look at you all weeping and crying
As love has impaled the meaning of your life
From a distance I saw you
Holding up your heart sign
Now your hands have been open
For the pain and suffrage
You have vehemently grown accustom to
Now you’re signing a new sign
The sign of your rite of passage
In the heart of your funeral arrangement
Where you have egotistically died inside
Yet, I was always there
Signing you my heart’s consent
Love, why have you forsaken me
